So this may or may not be a biased reply. I can't say Playstation is better than PC, but saying it's worse isn't true either. I will say this though- if you join a faction, Unturned will never be the same for you. Often these factions will go to war and certain faction-owned servers will be attacked.
Whole communities have developed in console Unturned, and if you want to delve deeper there's RP groups and factions you can join. i.e Me and my friends all usually play Canada on private servers (because it's generally empty enough for a few servers but has better ping then US West) even though most of us live on the East coast and one guy even lives in the friggin UK. Regions are usually picked to function as sort of a filter, and most people who play on a given region usually live in a different one. US West generally is used for private servers, US East is for public survival servers and RPs, Canada is used for factions, and Europe is mostly like US East but in Europe, and South America is US West but in South America. And a unique thing is that different regions are often used for different things. US East actually tends to have so many servers you can't make a new one. I play it almost everyday with my friends, and while sure, we're way behind on updates, it is still amazing. PS4 Unturned may not have as much as PC, and it may be behind a paywall, but it is amazing.
